Red Fox’s flagship Active Play program gives Indigenous and inner-city kids the chance to be healthy, have fun, and get inspired by positive youth role models from their own communities. Red Fox Youth Leaders guide children through energetic group games, circus arts and other physical activities that cultivate self-confidence, social connections, and new skills.
Red Fox Feasting brings children and families together to share culture, strengthen social connections, and eat delicious, healthy food made from scratch. Menus are all planned, cooked and served by our Chef and Culinary Instructor along with Youth Leaders, as part of our Youth Leadership program.
At the Red Fox Drum & Pow Wow Dance Group, children connect with Indigenous culture through song and dance. They learn about Indigenous values and heritage in a setting that promotes social connections and cultural pride.
Geocaching is a high-tech treasure hunt that uses smart phones and GPS units to help participants find hidden “caches” while exploring nature. At special events during the spring and summer months, Red Fox Youth Leaders show youth and families how to geo-cache at local and regional parks throughout Metro Vancouver.
Red Fox creates fun and engaging recreational and cultural activities that bring together Indigenous and inner-city children, youth and families at special community events throughout the year. Red Fox special event activities include Geocaching, Drum Group performances, Active Play sessions and more.
